Students who wish to enter a study programme at Unisa need to submit their application between 20 August and 27 September for the 2020 academic year.
Only applications made during the specified time will be accepted and processed.

If you have never enrolled in a course at Unisa then you need to submit an application for your selected distance learning programme.
Students Changing Courses
If you are a Unisa student but you would like to change to a new qualification or specialisation you will also need to submit a fresh application.
These are applicants who have previously applied for admission and were not offered a space or did not register.
Students who are not currently enrolled in a programme need to re-apply.
Students in Extended Programmes
Students completing a higher certificate or extended programme who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies will be expected to apply for next year.
Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement must apply via the relevant TVET college. Alternatively students can apply at Unisa via the online or self-help options.
