Unisa Says Nsfas Allowances Have Been Paid

The academic year has been underway for several months but some students have had to navigate the cost of education without their allowances from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas).

The University of South Africa (Unisa) has announced that students that are Nsfas beneficiaries have been paid by Intellimali.

Unisa said “This serves as a confirmation that all Nsfas funded student allowances, whose names were confirmed by NSFAS, were paid by Intellimali”.

Students are urged to check the Intellimali portal for confirmation of allowances paid. All queries should be directed to Mr Isaac Mabena at [email protected]

How To Get Access Your Nsfas Allowances From Intellimali 

  1. Download the Intellicell application (The app is available on Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei’s AppGallery).
  2. Collect and register your IntelliCard at a Van Schaik bookstore.
  3. You can then Swipe Intellicard or use IntelliCell to buy food or books.
  4. You can also draw cash at Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Checkers, USave or Boxer supermarket.
