Problem Solving and Critical Thinking (Credit bearing)

This course is taken from FET: General Management Level 4. The unit standad is 242817.

This Unit Standard is intended for junior managers of organisations. The Unit Standard specifies the knowledge and skills required to solve problems and make decisions. 

The qualifying learner is capable of: 

  • Defining a problem.
  • Investigating the problem.
  • Generating problem solutions.
  • Implementing problem solution.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the solution. 

 

People Management for Supervisors

This course comprises six unit standards totalling 51 credits.

This is a six day workshop, with an additional day for prep and PoE one month later (following completion of summative assessments.) The six days can either be done successively, or over a six week period.

The course content is taken from the Further Education and Training Certificate: Generic Management - ID 57712 and comprises the following unit standards:

The banking and motor vehicle industry is required to be compliant with the National Credit Act (NCA). 

Intelligo Solutions facilitates a morning workshop with the IOB (Institute of Bankers) exam will be written in the afternoon.  The student will receive a pre-workshop preparation manual on registration ahead of the workshop.

FAIS FIT & PROPER RE1 AND RE5 REGULATORY EXAM PREPARATION WORKSHOP

Our workshop options are aimed at licensed FSPs (Financial Service Providers) who are mandated by law to ensure that all their Representatives complete the FAIS 'Fit and Proper' regulatory exams.

We combined the RE1 and RE5 over a three day period due the 8 tasks applied to both RE1 and RE5.

The Fit and Proper Requirements have introduced regulatory examinations as part of the competence requirements.

Basic Fire Fighting

Basic Fire Fighting is about bringing fires under control and putting the fires out. Basic Fire Fighting will teach you the necessary skills to quickly and correctly identify the type of fire so that you can select the appropriate fire fighting procedure. Prevention is always better than cure. This means that we’ll teach you how to identify fire risks at the workplace. This will help you minimise the possibility of accidental fire.

Course Content:

First Aid level 1 (2 days)

First Aid Level 1 Training is for persons required to assess the emergency situation and providing basic Life Support and basic First Aid in order to stabilise patients prior to the arrival of Emergency Services.

People that have undergone First Aid Level 1 Training will be able to: demonstrate an understanding of emergency scene management, demonstrate an understanding of elementary anatomy and physiology, assess an emergency situation, apply First Aid procedures to a life-threatening situation and treat common injuries.

Moderator Course

Accreditation and Training Services’ generic Moderator training course will equip learners with the required knowledge and skills to conduct moderation of outcomes-based assessment (internal or external). The Moderator training course will further your understanding of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and will help you in developing your skills and acquiring a variety of qualifications within the fields of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resource Development.

Assessor Course

Accreditation and Training Services’ generic Assessor training course will equip learners with the required knowledge and skills to assess candidates in their own particular field of expertise. The Assessor training course will help build your understanding of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and will help you take the first step in developing your skills and acquiring a variety of qualifications within the fields of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resource Development.
