LifeLine Johannesburg Corporate Training

LifeLine Johannesburg is affiliated with Lifeline Southern Africa and LifeLine International. What initially started as a counselling service over 50 years ago expanded to community work in many areas and one of our sustainability arms was our Corporate Division which actually created out of the demand from people who had attended our community training to share these vital skills in the workplace. Career progression options within the occupation; and

Competition Law - The South African experience (Johannesburg) 2018

These guides are very well informed about the history of the different sites that are scattered throughout the provinces of South Africa and have a good overview of the diverse cultural elements of our country. A Culture Guide can operate in one province or qualify to work as a competent guide in numerous provinces or apply themselves to qualify as a National Guide.

Basic Fire Fighting

Basic Fire Fighting is about bringing fires under control and putting the fires out. Basic Fire Fighting will teach you the necessary skills to quickly and correctly identify the type of fire so that you can select the appropriate fire fighting procedure. Prevention is always better than cure. This means that we’ll teach you how to identify fire risks at the workplace. This will help you minimise the possibility of accidental fire.

Course Content:

First Aid level 1 (Refresher)

First Aid Level 1 Training is for persons required to assess the emergency situation and providing basic Life Support and basic First Aid in order to stabilise patients prior to the arrival of Emergency Services.

People that have undergone First Aid Level 1 Training will be able to: demonstrate an understanding of emergency scene management, demonstrate an understanding of elementary anatomy and physiology, assess an emergency situation, apply First Aid procedures to a life-threatening situation and treat common injuries.

Skills Program SP0866 - Warehouse Controlling Skills NQF 3

This skills programme is aimed at personnel who work in a warehouse and who are responsible for the activities typical in a warehouse such as receiving and dispatch of stock, counting stock, handling and storing stock.

The skills programme consists of 3 unit standards which can also be conducted as individual training courses.
