The purpose of this programme is to equip potential moderators with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise in line with the Criteria for the Registration of Moderators. 

This programme has been designed and developed by Aquarius Skills Solutions and is aligned with the Unit Standard, Conduct Moderation of Outcomes based Assessments (115759), NQF Level 6.

Design and develop Learning Material

The purpose of this programme is to equip potential moderators and assessors with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to design and develop outcomes-based assessment instruments and tools according to the NQF unit standards.

Assessor Training

The role of the assessor is to formally assess the skills and competence of staff within an organisation.  This is done through building a portfolio of evidence that is related to the learners daily work and meeting the requirements of the NQF.

  
An assessor must have the skills to plan, conduct, evaluate, make Judgments and provided feedback.  An Assessor should also have the ability to guide and support their learners through this process.

Motivate and Build a Team Skill

The Motivate and Build a Team Skill course is designed to assist in the discovery of self and your team in order to build on a strong foundation of shared goals and visions.

A collaborative team is a group of individuals who share common beliefs and work towards common goals. Collaborative team members spend time discussing what they hope to accomplish as a team and set team and individual goals for reaching that vision.

The Monitor & Control a Reception Area Skill course covers all key aspects of proper conduct and practices in the reception area, and equips front-line telephonists with the practical skills to operate productively and efficiently in this environment.

This programme is also designed to encourage new and experienced front-line staff to interact, and to discuss the challenges of their position, solve problems and enhance their motivation and commitment to this critically important role

Coaching & Mentoring Incl. Situational Leadership Skill

The Coaching & Mentoring Incl. Situational Leadership skills course is highly experiential and designed to run at a high level of self-reflection, participation and interaction.

Mentoring tends to be job-centred and focuses on workplace competence, whilst coaching is person-focused and supports individual growth and career development. Both approaches motivate, lead and inspire people personally and professionally.
