NEC3 Black Book - Advanced Contract Management & Administration

The Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) or as it is generally known the Black Book is the most commonly used NEC3 contract in South Africa. It is often praised for its flexibility, simplicity and for its ability to promote good (project) management between the parties to a contract. Where other forms of contract can promote an adversarial relationship between the Contractor and the Client, the NEC promotes a partnership of collaboration which has earned it a reputation for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
