False Bay TVET College hosted the Nama Royal House, HRH Queen Rebecca Como and Commissioners from the indigenous Khoi-San tribe for a partnership networking session. Hosted at False Bay TVET College (FBC) Central Office Conference Venue. The meeting was historic both for the Nama Royal House and False Bay TVET College. This is the first time that the College has received an official delegation from the royal house of the Khoi- San group.


The R350 grant is back for a new cycle of applications, which opened on Friday 6 August. Much like the previous cycle of applications, SASSA has set a deadline.

We must be reminded though, to consider others and stay focused, when disagreements happen in the workplace.

In my experience, the corporate environment today is a much more enabling one for women than in the past. Even though the gender breakdown still favours men, the general attitude towards women has certainly changed for the better. Of course, there are still some men who find it difficult to take orders from women, but I do not think that is ever going to completely go away.


SASSA has urged those hoping to apply for the R350 grant to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria.

Applications for the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant are now open. The grant has been reinstated from 6 August until March 2022.
