President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement to reinstate a ban on alcohol sales in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is reflective of an increased number of trauma cases seen in hospitals.

The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) called on creditors, unions and other stakeholders to vote in favour of a business rescue plan for SAA to, among other things, restructure the airline and avoid bankruptcy.
