Telkom SA announced on Monday that it will be granting South Africa’s tertiary-level students free access to a range of SA’s higher education websites and resources in the wake of the Noval Coronavirus outbreak in the country.

After all the focus this month on the university sector, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Mduduzi Manana rallied the faithful at the 6th Annual African TVET and FET Conference. Opening the packed conference in Cape Town, Manana call the TVET college sector the 'backbone of South Africa's educational sector'.
"This insidious behavior is not the preserve of smaller companies. There are large companies, including a JSE-listed company, that have been caught, investigated, found guilty and fined for excessive pricing."
