President Cyril Ramaphosa extended level 4 of the lockdown with a further 14 days due to an increase in covid-19 cases.


Western Cape accounts for 26 000 active covid-19 cases, with 2 521 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
Cases have reportedly increased since the outbreak of the Delta varient, which is highly contagious.


The question many South Africans have been asking has been when the country will receive the COVID-19 vaccine since many other countries have started distribution of these vaccines.


The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has paid out R2.4 billion to taxpayers in refunds since the commencement of the COVID-19 to lessen the blow to small and medium businesses.
