Representatives from South Africa’s financial services industry today announced the establishment of the Women in SA Financial Services Network. 


The combined effects of the pandemic, a weak economy, rising inflation and interest rates are resulting in more financial stress for many South Africans, which is taking an associated toll on their mental well-being.


There’s a lot to think about when you start your first job, from performing well in an environment that’s new and unfamiliar to the complexities of the work you’re assigned.


As a parent, you want the best for our children. While you may want them to have the latest toys or coolest gadgets, this will not set them up for financial success later in life. You want them to be secure and for this, you need to lay a foundation that teaches them how to manage their money.


It is estimated that nearly R1billion is spent annually on financial education in South Africa yet household debt remains stubbornly high and savings levels are amongst the world’s worst.
