 The ongoing Covid-19 outbreaks suggest that a hybrid way of working could become the norm. This is especially likely in service industries where in-person presence is not as critical to operations. 


Cabinet has revealed plans that could see the National State Of Disaster end by as early as next week. This would bring it to an end after more than two years. 


Despite the move to lockdown level 1 and the further easing of restrictions, South Africa will remain in a National State of Disaster.


New years often mean new beginnings with new years’ resolutions. However, the Covid-19 pandemic is here to stay and challenges it brings will remain for many.


As 2021 comes to an end, many South African citizens are preparing for festive season celebrations. However, curfew may pose a challenge to this. 


Despite some of its provinces officially entering a fourth wave of Covid-19 infections, South Africa will remain on lockdown alert level 1.
