As matriculants prepare to write their final examinations, many of them will be planning for the next step. For many this means studying further at a tertiary institution, which can be expensive.
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) has called for all qualifying students who are currently registered at an institution of higher learning for the 2021 academic year to apply for funding. Applications for this funding close 3 September 2021.
Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Buti Manamela said the Department is working closely with NSFAS to ensure the rest of the academic year runs smoothly.
