 Loadshedding is back. Eskom has announced that South Africans will have to deal with stage two load shedding until Saturday.

South Africa’s power utility Eskom has filed an urgent application in the Gauteng High Court after the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) rejected their new multi year pricing plan.

 South Africans have had to deal with stage 2 load shedding since Friday last week. Businesses and members of the public alike have had to make plans around being without power.

Stage 2 load shedding to continue

South African power utility Eskom has announced that Stage 2 loadshedding will continue until Thursday, 14 October 2021.

South African Power Utility Eskom has issued a statement informing South Africans that Stage 2 load shedding will continue tonight at 21h00 and will end at 05h00 on Saturday morning.

Eskom has issued a notice asking South Africans to reduce their electricity consumption.
