South Africa’s largest distance learning institution has announced that it will soon be hosting an open day in the Western Cape. 

 


As we kicked off the beginning of the 2022 academic year, that means many Universities are now in the process of registrations. Unisa has announced that they'll be extending their registration period.


Students at the University of South Africa (Unisa) have been reminded to collect their certificates. This has been an ongoing issue at the university.


Unisa will no longer be issuing certificates to students. The university announced this on Thursday afternoon. 


Tensions are high at Unisa, as some students at the university have not been receiving enough assistance. 


Unisa has extended the submission date of assignments. The university confirmed this, following the extension of the academic year. 


Unisa has extended applications for master's and doctoral degrees. Registrations opened on 5 January 2021.


Unisa has announced that the registration deadline for 2021 has been extended. This is following a court ruling which called for the deadline to be extended.
