The Basic Education Department has announced that it will be delaying the reopening of schools. The department said it made this decision in an effort to save lives. Schools will now reopen on the 15th of February. The department said it will work on persuading private schools to also delay reopening. |

Loadshedding will start at 12:00 on Thursday and end at 23:00 on Sunday night.
