Oracle University partner Bytes People Solutions has won four Oracle awards which were presented at an event held in Sandton. The company is a provider of education, training, skills development, content development, online learning technologies and people consulting services.
The awards include Best Oracle Database Instructor which was presented to Elzbeth Swart, Best SUN Instructor which went to Johan Grobler for the second year running, Best Oracle Approved Education Centre Quality, and Overall Best Oracle Approved Education Centre.
“Winning these awards is a great honour for Bytes People Solutions, and it’s testimony to the fact that we are among the top Oracle University partners with the very best instructors,” says Pieter Nel, business unit executive for IT learning solutions systems training. “Our two instructors won in their categories based on the feedback received from our clients, a process which is totally objective and carefully reviewed by Oracle.”
Bytes People Solutions has been an Oracle University partner for three years and has won the award for Overall Best Oracle Approved Education Centre each year.
“The recognition from Oracle is a result of our strong focus on quality learning and the passion demonstrated by our instructors, which they are able to pass onto their students,” he adds.
“We ensure that everyone who attends training provided by Bytes People Solutions receives the best possible service delivered in an environment that is conducive to learning and that leverages the best technology available.”
“Our partnership continues to contribute in many ways to both parties involved, including reliability, quality and value-add,” says Dr Madelise Grobler, managing director of Bytes People Solutions.
“An important part of Bytes People Solutions’ success this year in the training sector is the investment in our state-of-the art realtime training centre located at our headquarters in Midrand, which allows people in Durban and Cape Town to participate in live instructor-led training programmes run from the centre.
Learners can see and hear the facilitator, interact in group discussions with other participants and receive assistance when doing labs. We will continue to use technology to give us the advantage to service our customers better than our competitors.”
Bytes People Solutions approached Oracle in 2009 when Oracle started the process to acquire Sun Microsystems. Grobler says the company knew that engaging as a premium Sun Microsystems partner with Oracle would be the best strategy going forward.
“Three years later the result of that strategy is clear,” she concludes.
