Pig Production Training Programs are year-round programs that generally involve the care and feeding of gestating sows, lactating sows, feeder pigs and finishing pigs.

• Explain basic pig husbandry practices – US 116120: NQF L2, Credits 4

      This includes the following topics:

• Housing
• Nutrition
• Health
• Bio Security
