Business Writing: Written Communication at Work

Professional written communications must be respectful, clear, concise and accurate. When we write, we don't have the benefit of visual clues to explain our meaning; our words are our only representatives. This course covers writing styles, guidelines for achieving a professional tone and writing for different audiences, including writing for those with low literacy levels. We will discuss frameworks for reports, press releases and business letters; email etiquette and some common language and grammar mistakes to avoid.
This programme will take place over two half days (9am – 12.30pm)
