This correspondence course aims to examine international insolvency law trends in South Africa, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia on a comparative basis. The rules pertaining to cross-border insolvency law with particular reference to South Africa form a main part of this course. The content of this module is of such a nature that it will be of value to any student who is interested in international insolvency law viewed from a Southern African perspective. Candidates may attend the classes or do the course online. Although we make some study materials available during lectures, students remain responsible to see to it that they have all the prescribed materials.
