Construction Contracts

The Construction Contracts short course will introduce you to the law of contracts and, more specifically, the various types of construction contract used in the current South African construction and built environment. Not only will you gain exposure to different building and contractor agreements, but you will also get access to an in-depth knowledge base that includes professional liability, Professional Service Agreements (PROCSA), the Joint Building Contracts Committee (JBCC) and the Construction Industry Development Board’s (CIDB) Standard for Uniformity in Construction Procurement. The course is designed and presented by a selected group of leading academics and practitioners, all with extensive practical experience in the industry.

This course will earn you credit towards the Comprehensive Project Management Programme (CPMP) for Built Environment Practitioners.
