Process improvement methodologies give an opportunity to support and help address some of the inefficiencies within public/private sector. By focusing on value, process and variation through viewing organisation as a system, it is possible to achieve impact in terms of improved service quality. However, public/private sector leaders and managers need to fully understand what this means, commit and support it. The course covers the theory and application of organizational management, policy and leadership, supporting delegates in determining which process improvement approaches are suitable in a given environment. The training responds to these aims by answering a set of academic questions. It will reflect on where some of the gaps are within literature.
