The Municipal Public Accounts Committee Training Course short course is designed mainly for municipal public accounts committee members to understand the authority, monitoring and reporting functions and processes of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (S53 and 59 of the MSA), IDP, budget (SDBIP) ethics and governance for councillors. The Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), the Municipal Structures Act and the Municipal Systems Acts and their regulations constitute the platform which entrenches municipal regulatory environment.
