Short Course in Law, Risk, Economics and the Environment in Railway Operations

The short course in Law, Risk, Economics and the Environment in Railway Operations assist in describing general and railway law, touching on international norms and rules covering insurance and liabilities and compensation. National health and safety regulations are discussed along with basic economic systems and environmental protection aspects. This five-day course is aimed at training all TFR employees and generally brief them on respective aspects.

This course is presented as part of the Railway Engineering Education Programme and as part of the Railway Occurrence Investigation Programme (ROIP) of the University of Pretoria.
