Requirements:
◾A Grade 12 certificate with admission to degree studies
◾Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy required or attendance for maths tutorials and maths literacy lectures
◾National Certificate, with a minimum of 30% in English as the language of learning or first language, plus an achievement rating of 50-59% in four Matric subjects chosen from the designated subject list
◾Students with 24 points or more immediately qualify for admission
◾Students, 23 years and older, with four Grade 12 subjects written at the same time, with at least three passed on standard grade and one on higher grade, can apply for conditional exemption
◾Students 45 years and older, without Grade 12 may apply for conditional exemption
