Moderator Training/ Moderate Assessments (OD- ETDP)

Qualified Moderators have the responsibility of moderating assessments, according to the relevant outcomes statements and quality assurance requirements. Moderators need to meet a high standard of criteria, and have to be formally registered, before they will be allowed to moderate. Our programme equips prospective moderators with the skills, and knowledge of available resources, they will require in order to conduct moderations; enabling more individuals to perform this critical role within the skills and development sector.

The outcomes and skills acquired on this programme are:

* Demonstration of an understanding of moderation, within the context of Outcomes- Based assessment;
* Planning, preparation, and execution of moderation;
* Advising and supporting learners;
* Reporting, recording and administration of moderation;
* Reviewing of moderation systems and procedures.
