  • Present and argue a case on behalf of management (complainant role)
  • Chair a disciplinary hearing

  • Present and argue a case on behalf of management
  • Lead evidence through the use of witness examination and re-examination
  • Çross-examine a witness using a combination of leading and non-leading questions
  • Implement procedure to handle non-dismissible offences

  • Conduct and manage the hearing
  • Rule on relevance of evidence including testimony in order to ensure fairness
  • Hear pleadings
  • Take a decision as to sanction
  • Ensure procedural and substantive fairness
  • Ensure that proceedings and decisions are recorded
