Manufacturing Industry National Certificate (GETC): Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Activities:
Manufacturing Level 1—124 Credits
For a business to make sales, its products and services should be visible and displayed in an appealing manner, a process referred to as merchandising. Merchandising includes product display and packaging, as well as all the advertising techniques used to promote and sell goods to consumers.
Many technical and occupational qualifications in engineering and manufacturing at NQF Level 2 assume some learning at NQF Level 1. This qualification formalises those assumptions. In doing so, it provides a range of qualifying learners with access to further learning at NQF Levels 2 and beyond in the fields of manufacturing, engineering and assembly.
Manufacturing Industry National Certificate:
Production Technology Level 2—125 Credits
