KSTI - Kubu Science and Technology Institute

Kubu Science and Technology was established and registered in June 2022.

It is a company entering the private Higher Education and Training sector with the primary aim of contributing to fighting inequality, poverty and unemployment in South Africa.

The KSTI is establishing five faculties, consisting of:

  • Health and Education Sciences;
  • Management and Law;
  • Arts;
  • Science and Agriculture,
  • Technology and Engineering.

Each is preparing to offer courses starting from:

  • Higher Certificates,

and progressing to:

  • Diplomas,
  • Bachelor’s Degrees,
  • Postgraduate Diplomas,
  • Masters and PhDs.

Research centers and units include the School of Postgraduate Studies; the Centre for Teaching and Learning; the Centre for Continuous Education; an Incubation Hub; the Center for Technology Transfer and Research centers in different faculty niche areas.

The Community Engagement at KUBU involves integrated collaboration with industries, government departments, and communities working together with the Institute to form a quadruple helix model.
