Supervisory Development Programme

The Supervisory Development Programme has been crafted by Growth-Link Integrated Solutions specifically for supervisors, handing them the tools they need to respond to the operational and individual challenges they face each day. The sound theoretical framework is balanced by an array of essential skills in planning, organisation, motivation and management. It is NQF 3 aligned and competent learners will receive a Certificate of Competence from the relevant SETA.

Supervisory Orientation Programme

Growth-Link Integrated Solutions has created the Supervisory Orientation Programme to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge they need for their roles as team leaders. It is structured to deliver a rich framework within which attendees can explore their potential as supervisors, become competent in their self-knowledge, and develop skills in problem solving, delegation and leadership.

Coach, Role Model, Counsellor, Supporter, Guide...do these words ring a bell? Being a coach involves being a role model, sometimes a counsellor or supporter, and always a guide. Coaching is based on a partnership that involves giving both support and challenging opportunities to employees. Knowing how and when to coach is an essential skill that can benefit both you and your organisation.

Stress Management Training

Course Overview

Fact: If stress levels are not managed effectively in the workplace, employees will become less productive and overall performance will drastically be affected.

This workshop will explore the harmful long-term effects of stress on our mental and physical health and provide suggestions for managing our individual stresses more effectively. Strategies may include changes in lifestyle, stress management techniques such as relaxation and exercise, and the use of music or humour as coping strategies.

Conflict: Getting along at Work

Course Overview

Fact: The amount of time spent on conflict management is surprisingly high - employees spend at least 24% of their time on managing conflict.

All of us experience conflict. We argue with our spouses, disagree with our friends, and sometimes even quarrel with strangers at a rugby game. At times we lose sight of the fact that all this conflict is normal. So long as people are individuals there will be the potential for conflict.

This workshop is designed so that delegates will be able to identify leadership behaviours and strengths and areas for development, assess interaction skills and target skills to be further developed as well as be taught how to communicate effectively using specific principles. Delegates will also understand techniques for providing supportive feedback.
