Develop Learning Materials

Duration: 5 days

Purpose

This skills programme is a must for learning programme designers and developers. During this workshop we will learn how to design and develop outcomes-based learning programmes in line with ETQA requirements from completing the curriculum framework to developing a full learner guide and learner work-book with an accompanying facilitator guide.

Unit Standards

The following Unit Standards are covered during the skills workshop:

 US 123401: Design outcomes-based learning programmes, Level 6, 15 credits
 US 123394: Develop outcomes-based learning programmes, NQF Level 5, 10 credits
 US 123397: Evaluate a learning intervention using given evaluation instruments, NQF Level 5, 10 credits
 US 115790: Write and present for a wide range of purposes, audiences and contexts, NQF Level 5, 5 credits

Total credit value: 40 credits

The public skills workshops will be facilitated on the following dates:

 14-18 March
 06-10 June
 10-14 October

NB: We run this training, in-house, nationally, for a minimum of 10 learners (T&Cs’ apply)
