I received an SMS from Sassa to upload my banking details but my R350 grant was not paid
If you have received an SMS from SASSA to upload your banking details, it means that SASSA needs your banking information to process your R350 grant payment. However, receiving this SMS does not necessarily mean that your grant payment has been approved or paid.
Once you have uploaded your banking details, it may take some time for SASSA to process your payment. There may also be delays in the payment process due to various factors, such as the number of applications being processed, system updates or technical issues.
If your R350 grant payment has not been received after a reasonable amount of time, you can contact SASSA to enquire about the status of your application and payment. You can call the SASSA toll-free hotline on 0800 60 10 11 or visit your nearest SASSA office for assistance.
It's important to note that the R350 grant is subject to available funding, and the South African government has not yet announced how long the grant will continue for or whether there will be any changes to the payment amounts or eligibility criteria.
