Answer

The payment date for the R350 grant may vary depending on various factors, such as the processing time for your application, the payment method you have chosen and any delays or disruptions in the payment process.

Of course the good news is that since April the payment has been increased to R370 per month.

If your application is approved and you have provided your bank account details, the payment will usually be made directly into your bank account. In this case, the payment may take a few days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing time.

If you have chosen to receive the payment through a cash transfer service or a voucher, the payment may be available for collection on a specific date or within a specific timeframe.

It's important to note that the payment date for the R370 grant may not be the same every month, and you should keep track of the payment dates to ensure that you receive the payment on time. You can contact SASSA or your payment provider for more information on the payment dates and methods for the R370 grant.

If you have received significant payments into your bank account in the month you might not be eligible for the SRD grant payment in that month. However this will be reassessed the following month. You don't need to reapply for the grant - you will automatically be reassessed. If you qualify in that month your Sassa status will be updated and you Sassa status will be paid.
