South Africa's unemployment rate has hit a record high of 35.3% - the highest level since Statistics South Africa's first Quarterly Labour Force Survey in 2008. What this means is that 7.9-million people remain jobless. So, how do we, as a country, rectify this?


On 8 March every year, women's groups around the world mark International Women's Day, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.


In response to the skill shortage in South Africa,  learnerships were established to allow people to gain valuable skills that could ensure their success in the workplace of their choice.
