Tshwane University of Technology (Also called TUT) offers a wide variety of departments at their nine campuses. Distance education offers diplomas in the Department Safety and Security. Only students who live in Durban or Cape Town may apply for distance education programmes. 

Vaal University of Technology strives to produce employable students who will make an impact on the country and their communities. They have four campuses which offer a variety of departments. Student accommodation is available near the campuses. Vaal University of Technology offers sport, a science park, library and counselling to all students at all campuses.

Mangosuthu University of Technology offers a variety of departments. Student housing is available near the university. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students to help with university costs. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.

Durban University of Technology offers many different departments as well as short courses. There are libraries at all campuses for students to use for their studies. Writing centres are offered to help students to improve their writing, reading and researching skills. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students.

Central University of Technology Free State offers a variety of departments at their campuses. There are residences near the campuses. Bursaries are offered to deserving students. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.

Cape Peninsula University of Technology aims to have an impact on the world of technology. Accommodation is available near the campuses. They offer a variety of courses including short courses. Counselling is provided to all students at all campuses. Assistance is provided to students when applying for financial aid.
