Approved beneficiaries have two options for receiving their December SRD grant:
Direct Bank Deposit: The funds will be transferred directly to the bank account provided during the application process.
Retail Outlets: Grant recipients can collect their payments from various retailers, including Pick n Pay, Boxer, Checkers, USave, OK, and Spar.
Eligibility and Application Process
To be eligible for the SRD grant, applicants must be South African citizens or permanent residents who are unemployed and not receiving any other social grant.
The application process involves providing personal information such as ID number, full name, and a valid South African mobile number. Sassa will then verify the information against various databases to ensure eligibility.

The SRD grant payment for December 2024 is R370.
