Course in Environmental Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement

The Environmental Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement short course prepares you with knowledge and insights to align company policies and objectives to current environmental legislation to ultimately minimise liabilities and interact with audit, inspection and enforcement processes. The training experience you will receive provides you with the foundation for environmental compliance, both in industry and in wildlife related human activities.

Actuarial Science Course F102: Life Insurance Principles

This course is aimed at members of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA), who are currently studying towards their professional qualification exams. The course allows members to obtain study assistance by participating in lectures, assignments and regular tests in order to ensure that they pass the relevant ASSA exams.

Peace Building and Conflict Resolution

The short course in Peace Building and Conflict Resolution provides you with insights to the basic concepts and skills needed for remediating peace and tolerance in various contexts of violence, difference and brokenness. During the course, you will be introduced to a biblical vision for peace in our communities and the world, and be equipped with appropriate tools to analyse local contexts from a perspective of peace, reconciliation and justice.

FIRE CONTROL (LEGAL REQUIREMENT TRAINING)

This course focuses on the prevention and the control of fires at work

Learner objectives
· Understand the common causes of fires at work
· Understand the chemistry of fire and combustion
· Describe the classification of fires and identify associated fuel sources
· Understanding the types of extinguishing Mediums and select the appropriate medium during a fire
· Understand the techniques to apply when fighting a fire.
· Demonstrate the ability of using the available equipment (extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, foam,
etc.)

CLIENT SPECIFIC TRAINING

Clients may nominate the various courses that they wish to train their employees on.
These courses are then developed or tailor made based on their operational risks.
Courses are further aligned to Client Specific policies and procedures which may be included on the
courseware or training material.
Relevant unit standards will be aligned into the courseware or training material.

SUPERVISOR'S HEALTH AND SAFETY

FOOD AND BEVERAGE - BASIC HEALTH AND SAFETY

This course will equip food handlers with essential knowledge on all Health and Safety issues pertaining
to the food industry especially in an industrial kitchen environment

FIRE WATCHERS TRAINING

This course is designed for employees who have been appointed as Fire Watchers during hot work activities.Key industries include the general engineering, petrochemical and volatile chemical industry.

CHLORINE WORKSHOP

This workshop focuses on chlorine and chlorine related Systems and the responsibility attached to such
systems.
