The Covid-19 pandemic has seen massive job losses leaving many South Africans unemployed. uFiling is an online service that allows employers and employees to submit Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) applications.
The uFiling system allows users to access the services provided on the website at a time and place that is convenient to them. uFiling also allows users to make secure payments via internet banking when contributing to the UIF. This service can be used by domestic, commercial and foreign domestic employers.
How To Register As A User On uFiling
Step 1. Open your web browser and go to www.ufiling.co.za .
Step 2. Click “REGISTER” in the top right hand corner. 
Step 3. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on “Yes” and then click on “CONTINUE”.
Step 4. Fill in all the required information and click on “REGISTER”.
Step 5. Wait to receive your activation message via the preferred method of contact that you selected. 
Step 6. Click on the link provided to you in the message to activate your account. 
Logging Into Your New uFiling Account. 
Step 1. Visit the www.ufiling.co.za .
Step 1. Click the login option in the top right of your screen. 
Step 2. Enter your username and the temporary password that was provided to you in the message/email sent to you.
Completing The Registration Process. 
Step 7. Change you password and complete all the required information and click on "Apply".
Step 8. Click on “CONTINUE” to go further in the verification process. 
Step 9. Answer the personal questions provided and click on “NEXT”. When this is completed click “SUBMIT”.
Note: If the verification process fails, you will be required to contact uFiling support with a copy of your ID, Proof of Residence and Proof of Employment. 
Only you and the uFiling Call Centre will have access to your information. All UIF staff working at the call center are subjected to strict legislation such as the ICT Act that makes it an offence to disclose any of your personal information.
