- Disability Allowance: Higher living allowance and additional learning materials allowance
- Meal and Personal Care Allowance: R1,345 per month (October 2024)
- Transportation Allowance: R771 per month for students living over 10km from campus
TVET college students must upload their banking details on the myNSFAS portal to ensure timely payments.
How to Upload Bank Details
- Visit the myNSFAS portal.
- Log in using your myNSFAS credentials.
- Go to "Profile Information" and select "Bank Account Details."
- Enter your bank details.
- Click "Save."
Certain TVET students may only receive allowances during simulated training periods.
