The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has now confirmed the allowance amounts that will be paid to students in June 2025.
TVET Colleges students were paid their allowances on the 24th June, but university students are being paid on the 30th June.
NSFAS has also confirmed that accommodation payments will be made to landlords, and any tuition fees that are still due will also be paid today.
Allowances are distributed over 10 months—February to November—at all 26 public universities and 50 TVET colleges across the country.

How NSFAS Allowances Will Be Paid in June 2025
NSFAS has confirmed that TVET college students will continue to receive their allowances through direct deposit into their personal bank accounts. Students are advised to keep their banking information updated on the myNSFAS portal.
For university students, allowances will be paid through their respective institutions. Payment schedules may vary, so students should consult their university’s financial aid office for specific details.
