My NSFAS Status

Feenix is an online crowdfunding platform that allows university students to raise money to fund their tertiary education. 

 The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) will be reopening its walk-in offices in Cape Town. The offices will reopen on Monday 11 October 2021.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has made some progress with providing students with laptops for the 2021 academic year.

Government allocation for NSFAS funding has increased significantly. This is according to Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande. 

The wait for NSFAS laptops is nearly over. The South African Union of Students has confirmed that the laptops are expected to arrive in April.

Students funded by NSFAS will have their tuition and accommodation fees covered. Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande assured students during a media briefing on Thursday morning. 

Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande has confirmed that all returning students will continue to be funded this year. 

National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will be cutting funding from some programmes this year but there are other options for students who qualify for the national support scheme.
