Many students around the country who want to complete or improve their Matric results have just two weeks to register for the 2022 October/November National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
The Department of Basic Education has released the closing date for the NSC October/November examinations.
Prospective matriculants will have until 15 March 2022 to register for the end of year NSC examinations.
Who is eligible to write the 2022 October/November NSC examinations?
- Current Grade 12 learners
- Anyone who wants to improve on their previous NSC results and who is still an NSC candidate (i.e. has not had their certificate changed to SC) may register as a part-time candidate for the NSC examinations.
Candidates may register at the education district office before 15 March 2022.
Candidates who are younger than 21 years-old can choose to enroll in schools. Those who are older than 21 years-old are advised to register at a Public Adult Education Center.
If candidates do not want to do either of the above options, they can choose to complete their NSC exams through a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college.
