Since the beginning of August, more than 11 million people have applied for the R350 Social Relief of Distress grant (SRD) grant. If you have cancelled your SRD grant and want to reinstate or reactivate it, Follow the easy steps below.
Step 1 - Visit the SRD website by clicking on the following link https://srd.sassa.gov.za/
Step 2 - Under the ‘Cancel my application’ tab. Select: reinstate my cancelled grant application.
Step 3 - Provide your ID number and Mobile number. Click send pin.
Step 4 - Wait for an SMS with your 6-digit one-time pin (OTP) number.
Step 5 - Insert the 6-digit OTP number and click Verify Pin.
Step 6 - Agree to the terms and conditions.
Step 7 - Click reinstate my grant.
Step 8 - A message will pop up and ask you if you are sure you want to reactivate your grant.
Step 9 - Click Yes.
Applications for the second cycle of covid-19 relief grants are still available, and applications can be submitted on one of the following platforms:

Applicants are encouraged to provide their banking details as this will result in faster processing of their money.
