There have only been four R350 grant payments this week to the Post Office including Thursday 14 April 2022.
Good Friday is a public holiday in the country and will therefore see no R350 grant payments on Friday 15 April 2022 at SAPO branches.
The Post Office does not distribute grants on Weekends or public holidays. This means that R350 grant beneficiaries won’t be able to collect their grant this coming Friday at the Post Office.
The next R350 grant payment day at the Post Office will be on Tuesday 19 April 2022. This is as Sunday 17 April 2022 is Family day, which is also a public holiday in South Africa.
Due to the public holiday falling on a weekend, the public holiday will be observed on the Monday. The Public Holidays Act No 36 of 1994 determines whenever any public holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following it shall be a public holiday.
