This agreement will allow NOSA to provide internationally recognised SHE training courses as part of its impressive training portfolio.

CHSS has delivered leading edge health and safety training courses and has provided consultancy services since 1992 across the UK and on an international level to clients from a wide range of industry and business sectors. CHSS is NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA and CIEH accredited, over and above its ISO 9001 rating. As the leading UK provider of the NEBOSH certificate and the NEBOSH diploma, as well as IOSH courses, a partnership with CHSS will enable NOSA to offer these qualifications within Sub-Saharan Africa.
The NEBOSH International Certificate is a worldwide recognized health and safety qualification that focuses on internationally recognized health and safety standards and priorities, as well as best practices for controlling hazards. As such, it offers an excellent basic grounding in the essentials of health and safety, and provides industry in general with a solid benchmark in health and safety training with which to view prospective staff.
NOSA and CHSS currently have three courses on offer: the NEBOSH International Certificate in Health and Safety, which is a 10 day course designed specifically for personnel, such as managers, supervisors, non-safety specialists and worker representatives; the NEBOSH Construction Certificate Course, a 15 day programme which aims to provide those in the construction industry with the ability to provide advice on health, safety and welfare in construction work; and the IOSH Safety for Senior Executives, a 1 day programme which enables executives to review policy and strategies and, where necessary, introduce changes to enhance the safety culture within their organisation.A number of other courses will be available as the year progresses.
