TVET Colleges are perfect for students who are in need of practical training - for instance, students who wish to pursue a career in mechanics, electrical engineering, hairdressing just to mention a few.

If you want to do practical work, advisably choose a course at a TVET and run with it - as these institutions of higher learning focus primarily on practical work as opposed to universities that have more theory than practical learning.

There’s a high skill shortage in the engineering sector, and the government plans to meet this demand. This, in turn, will mean higher chances of employment after graduation.

If you want to study at a TVET college, the meaning requirement is that you have passed grade 9 in high school should you want to study for an NCV course.

But if you don’t meet this requirement, you will write a skills test because not everyone has access to their grade 9 reports and most mature students choose this option.

Nated is an option for individuals who have passed grade 11 and/or failed grade 12. The most amazing part is that there is funding should you are in a position of grade 9 and higher.
