How Much Sassa SRD Grant Payments Will Be For March 2025
Following a R20 increase in April 2024, the SRD grant is now valued at R370 per month. This means that in March 2025, SRD grant beneficiaries will receive R370.
Grant payments are typically made during the last week of the month, excluding weekends and public holidays, after Sassa completes its verification process. March 2025 SRD grant payments will be made between 26 and 28 March, to approved beneficiaries.
"Clients are encouraged to view their status on the SRD website for the exact date that payment will reflect into their bank accounts," said Sassa.
How To Do A Sassa SRD Status Check
- First, visit the SASSA SRD status website for the SRD status check section.
- You will then be asked to fill in your ID number, as well as the cell phone number that you used when you submitted your grant application.
- Hereafter, you will be able to check the progress of your grant by doing a Sassa status check.
- For security, you will receive a One time pin, Enter the OTP to see your SRD grant payment status.
- You will also be able to see your grant payment date
What If You Don’t Have An SRD Grant Payment Date
Approved SRD grant beneficiaries without a payment date will not receive their R370 grant. This usually stems from incorrect or incomplete information.
Common Issues
- Missing Banking Details: Beneficiaries must provide bank account details on the Sassa website.
- Postbank Accounts: Sassano longer opens Postbank accounts. Update with new banking details.
- Cash Send/Mobile Money: An incorrect ID or cellphone number can delay payments. Consider alternative banking options.
