Applying For Sassa Grants For June 2025
1. Visit Your Local Sassa Office
You can apply at a Sassa office, where staff will assist you.
If you're unable to apply in person, someone can apply on your behalf with written consent.
2. Online Application
Online applications are available for the Child Support, Older Persons, and Disability grants.
How To Apply For Sassa Grants Online

Visit the Sassa Services Portal.

Register as a new user.

Log in with your username and password.

Select “Apply For A Grant.”

Choose the grant type (e.g. Older Persons, Child Support, Foster Child).

Complete the application form accurately.

Print the Sassa-generated affidavit and have it certified.

Print, sign, and submit the Bank Payment Form.

Upload all required documents in PDF format.

Submit your application. A reference number will be sent by SMS or email.

Processing of Approved Grant Applications
After submission, you’ll receive a reference number as proof. There are no application fees.
Approved grants are paid in the first week of the month, excluding weekends and holidays. Funds stay in the account until withdrawn.
