Sassa Grant Increases
Sassa grant amounts typically increase twice a year: on 1 April and 1 October. The 2025 grant increases will be announced by Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana during the annual budget speech.
Historical increases have ranged from R10 to R90 per grant.
Sassa beneficiaries are not required to withdraw their grants immediately. Once the funds are deposited, they will remain available in your account.
