Occupational Trainer Level 4 (OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATE - OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATION)

PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAMME

 The Occupational Trainer is a qualified technical or occupational expert who is equipped with the ability to deliver training in their specific field of expertise. This qualification is aimed at potential or existing trainers who are responsible for delivering occupational learning programmes to trainees in the workplace. The occupational trainer must have current knowledge of the industry, the workplace and job/role of the person being trained and assessed.

Introductory Course in Events Management

The Introductory Course in Events Management provides you with a basic overview of events coordination with a strong focus on the events management process at its core. The course covers specific aspects of events management in a variety of industries – with the application of relevant case studies and practical guidelines – that include planning, project and risk management, marketing and budgeting, and event legalities/evaluation.

Short Course in Strategic View on B-BBEE

The Strategic View on B-BBEE workshop focuses on broad-based black economic empowerment in a commercial context and facilitates strategic thinking and decision making in your organisation’s approach to implementing it successfully. The workshop is designed to assist you with a practical understanding of the different relevant pieces of legislation, including the B-BBEE Amendment Act, the Code of Good Practice, the Sectoral codes and related regulatory aspects.

The short course in Contract Management is ideal if you seek to acquire the necessary practical skills in effectively managing and administrating contracts for goods and services. Contract management refers to the process of systematically and efficiently managing contract creation, execution and analysis for the purpose of maximising financial and operational performance while minimising risk.

Short Course in Process Modelling for Business Operations

Process modelling is essential to business process management success and documenting all the processes further aids communication throughout the organisation. Process modelling has always been a key aspect of quality management programmes, business process re-engineering, and continuous improvement approaches seen in Six Sigma, Kaizen and LEAN, to name a few. One of the greatest challenges in the organisation is to standardise the way in which processes are documented, to keep the documentation up-to-date and accessible to those involved.

Foundation Learning Competence : NQF Level 2

What’s FLC?

Foundational Learning Competence (FLC) is a part qualification that consists of two learning areas: Communication and Mathematical Literacy. It outlines the minimum level of competence required for optimal functioning in the world of work and for occupational learning at NQF Levels 2-4. It is a part qualification registered at NQF Level 2 and carries 40 credits in total.

Artisan Training Institute

ATI’s Training Process

ATI works on an open entry open exit basis to offer clients flexibility. The vast majority of ATI Learners are from corporate entities.

Typically the learning provided by the institute is broken into three phases.

Phase 1 comprises approximately 12 to 15 weeks

Phase 2 approximately 12 weeks and

Phase 3 approximately 8 weeks of institutional training.

Prior to writing trade tests, Learners return to the Institute for 1 to 2 weeks trade revision, following which they will write trade tests.
