Assessor Training

This skills training programme is accredited by the ETDP SETA at NQF Level 5 for 15 credits.

PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
This generic assessor unit standard is for those who assess people for their achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments. The outcomes and criteria may be defined in a range of documents including but not limited to unit standards, exit level outcomes, assessment standards, curriculum statements and qualifications.

Shortening the process of minute taking by introducing action plans is also discussed.

Mixed Martial arts has taken the fitness arena by storm and so many Personal Trainers have to incorporate boxing, kickboxing and other forms of martial arts training into their workouts to keep up with fitness trends. This course is designed to teach the trainer how to incorporate these fighting techniques safely and effectively into their workouts, both on a one-on-one basis or within a small group.

Soft Skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual’s interactions, job performance and career prospects, it is the character traits and interpersonal skills that characterises a person’s relationships with other people. In simple terms, Soft Skills have more to do with who we are than what we know. In the workplace, soft skills are considered a complement to hard skills, which refer to a person’s knowledge and occupational skills.

Stress Management Training

Course Overview

Fact: If stress levels are not managed effectively in the workplace, employees will become less productive and overall performance will drastically be affected.

This workshop will explore the harmful long-term effects of stress on our mental and physical health and provide suggestions for managing our individual stresses more effectively. Strategies may include changes in lifestyle, stress management techniques such as relaxation and exercise, and the use of music or humour as coping strategies.
